NEWS ABOUT THE TEACHER CREDENTIAL

The Texas Adult Education Credential Project will have the opportunity to present the Texas Teacher Credential Model to a national audience November.

Dr. Emily Miller Payne, Principle Investigator for the project, Dr. D. Michelle Janysek, Lead Grant Coordinator for the project, and Dr. Terry Salinger, external consultant to the project, have been invited to present at the 57th National Reading Conference. Their presentation titled, Developing a Credentialing System for Adult Education Teachers, has been scheduled for Friday, November 30, 2007 from 1:15 – 2:45 p.m. The NRC Conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Austin on Town Lake from November 28th to December 1st.
