Participants may choose any of the assessment training sessions.  Please remind participants to bring the test kits (manual, picture plates, manipulatives, etc.) to the training with them for each session they are attending.  TFLRC will provide answer sheets for each assessment for use during the training sessions.

REPORT CARD TRAINING

Report Cards are effective communication tools for Even Start to use with their communities and constituents.  Report Cards provide a quick but comprehensive look at the individual Even Start project and include performance outcomes and a standardized rating system.

Each Even Start project develops its own Report Card using data and characteristics of the families served for a single program year.  Texas LEARNS is interested in Even Start projects developing Report Cards to provide accountability information to policy makers and the public in a succinct, comprehensible way.

Report Card training will be provided for Even Start Coordinators and a second individual who manages data for the Even Start project.  Please see details below.
