Welcome to Integrating Technology in Adult ESL!

This free professional development series is a part of TESOL 2008's Electronic Village Online. In this 6 week session, we hope to have everyone:

  • Assess technology resources and personal technology skills
  • Review research, strategies and best practices for adult ESL technology integration
  • Review online lesson plans, activities and curricula that integrate language and technology learning
  • Create a lesson plan or class project which integrates technology, try it out, and share what worked with the group.
Target Audience: The target audience for this group is teachers who are working with literacy level adult ESL students. These students often are enrolled in free federally and/or state funded classes. They may have limited formal education and little or no technology experiences.
